Personal Information…Born May 11, 1953 in Eldon, Missouri; the daughter of John and Alta Chipley.  Married Jim Quigley June 28, 1975 in Boonville, Missouri.  Three children:  Matthew 25, Andrew 22, and Emily 18. 

Public School…Elementary school in Versailles, Missouri.  David Barton Junior High and Laura Speed Elliot High School in Boonville, Missouri.  Graduated in 1971 as one of the Top Five Seniors.

Additional Education…Attended Southwest Missouri State 1971-1973, transferred to the University of Missouri 1973-1976 into the School of Nursing.  Graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1976.  Attended the University of Michigan 1979-1981, earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 1981.

Work Experience…Staff nurse University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics 1976-1977; Staff nurse, assistant head nurse Ohio State University Hospital1977-1978; Staff nurse and assistant head nurse University of Michigan Hospital 1978-1982; Clinical Nurse Specialist in Rheumatology University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics 1982-1983; Outreach Coordinator, Southwest Boulevard Family Health Care 2005-present.

Community and Volunteer Experience…Member of the Junior League of Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas (1988-present; Master Volunteer 1992; Community Spirit Award 1992), Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader, PTA involvement at Rising Star Elementary School (PTA President, Carnival Chair, Legislative chair, Lifetime PTA Member Award), Trailridge Middle School (PTA Vice President, PTA Lifetime Member Award), and Shawnee Mission Northwest High School (PTA President, Vice President, After Prom Chairman, Spirit Awards, PTA Lifetime Member Award).  Member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (active in education and mission committees), Volunteer Hall of Fame by the Lenexa City Council.
